People and Blessings

I met some very amazing people in Bangalore.  I don't feel comfortable naming them or posting pictures of them.  They have served in some of the hardest and darkest places on this earth.  They are now living in this city, serving the needs of others all over Asia and beyond by pastoring, planning, encouraging and leading.  I am grateful for the work they do and I am so privileged to have eaten at their dinner tables, prayed with them, and listened to their stories.  Rest assured, God is at work in the world to make His name known and He has equipt His people.

Christmas was a delight.  It was very different, but very joyful.  We shared the day with friends of Chase and Lacey, ate together, played games and watched movies.  These folks walk in life with Chase and Lacey and also are a significant part of Lacey's past years in India.

As we awaited the arrival of little Ari, we were blessed with a visit from, not only the US, but actually from Batesville.  We loved having Mason visit and meeting Kristen.  Their presence there helped us get through some of the last long days of the wait!  We enjoyed New Year's Day with them.  Mason coming to Bangalore was a true blessing and as good as a shot in the arm or a healing balm for Chase!

New Year's Eve 2012
Work for Team Everest continued in Bangalore.  They were able to meet together as a last act of the team before going their separate ways for a while and planning for the coming of others who have joined the team.
